Join us for this workshop to learn how to apply PAGB’s codes and guidelines on social media for OTC medicines, medical devices and food supplements. We’ll explain how different regulations affect what you can do in each category and provide advice on the best way to use different platforms compliantly.
The workshop will cover:
- How to ensure ads are clearly identifiable
- Fulfilling essential information and nutrition and health claims requirements
- When you can work with celebrities or influencers
- Creating content featuring health care professionals
- Using reviews and testimonials compliantly
- Interacting with consumers on public platforms
Who should attend?
A ‘must-attend’ workshop for people working in an advertising or marketing role for OTC medicines products, and their suppliers and agencies. Anyone with an interest in the self-regulation of OTC medicines advertising (e.g. regulators, other trade associations).
Format
This workshop will run over from 10am to 1pm (approx).
The workshop is delivered by members of the PAGB advertising team who use a combination of presentations and case studies and encourage interaction and questions. You’ll receive copies of the presentations, practical examples and other useful materials to take away, and we’ll send you a certificate of attendance after the event.
